For six years, I served with a Christian maritime disaster relief organization. Those years were marked by long days, unexpected challenges, prayer, and the kind of work that shapes a person from the inside out. It was also there that I met my husband, and together we served side by side, learning what it means to trust God not just in theory, but in real, often difficult circumstances.

The Anchor Letters were born from those experiences.

Each letter contains a story; something lived, remembered, or learned along the way, and is anchored in Scripture for reflection and application.

These are not polished or perfect thoughts, but the real adventures of a woman who found herself an empty nester. It was also a time when Hurricanes Rita and Katrina did their worst along the Gulf Coast.
